Dr. Tran

We are so excited to have Dr. Tran join the Precision Orthodontics family!

Dr. Binh Tran graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology. While at UCLA, he spent two years doing scientific research on myfibroblasts and is published internationally in three journals.

After graduating from UCLA, Dr. Tran spent a year teaching at his former junior high school in the Oakland Unified School District. Following his teaching term, he enrolled in the University of Southern California (USC) dental school, where he received his dental degree (DDS).

At the end of his last year at USC, Dr. Tran matriculated into the Orthodontic Residency program at St. Louis University in Missouri, where he received his Orthodontic Certificate and his Master’s Degree in Dental Science (MSD).

Dr. Tran enjoys watching sports and playing outdoors. He also enjoys experimenting with new technology, reading books, and watching movies. On his sunny days off, he can often be found at local parks with his family.

Dr. Graff

Dr. Megan Graff has joined our practice as a partner doctor at the Auburn location!

Dr. Megan Graff is a native of Redding, California. She received her Bachelor degree from UCLA before attending dental school at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, where she was awarded a prestigious Air Force scholarship to complete her doctorate.

After graduating dental school, Dr. Graff garnered a coveted slot in the Air Force Advances Education in General Dentistry program in Bossier City, Louisiana. She graduated from that program as salutatorian and was then assigned to Vance Air Force Base in Oklahoma, where she led her clinic as Chief of Dental Services. After serving her country for eight years, Dr. Graff decided it was time to pursue her true dental passion – orthodontics.

Undeterred by the difficulty of the field, she succeeded in being awarded a resident position at the University of Colorado Orthodontics Residency Program, where she completed a Master of Science in Dentistry and obtained her Orthodontics certification. While a resident, she conducted groundbreaking research in the critical field of patient treatment monitoring by leveraging novel advancements in photo-documentation technology.

Upon graduation, and after a decade of Air Force moves, Dr. Graff, her husband, and their twin girls traveled back to their home state of California and were finally able to put down roots for good.

Dr. Poidmore

Dr. Paolo Poidmore is a Sacramento-area native and graduate of Jesuit High School. After completing four years of undergraduate studies, four years of dental training, and three years of orthodontic training, Dr. Poidmore returned to his hometown to start his career.

Dr. Poidmore received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of San Diego in 2002. He then attended the University of Southern California where he received his dental degree in 2006, and finally he received his orthodontic specialty training under world-renowned orthodontist Dr. Anthony Gianelly at the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Poidmore’s favorite aspect of orthodontics is the great variety of challenges presented by each individual patient and the detail and thought processes involved in determining the highest quality and most predictable outcome in each situation.

In his free time, Dr. Poidmore enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf, BBQing, working out, going to church, studying theology, cooking, attending sporting events, and eating homemade Italian food! Dr. Poidmore and his wife were married in 2013.

Dr. Crawford

Dr. Brian Crawford is a native of San Jose, California. He attended San Jose State University before being accepted to the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. While attending dental school, Dr. Crawford received one of five scholarships offered nationwide from the United States Air Force.

After graduating Cum Laude in 2000, Dr. Crawford was awarded a place in an Air Force Advanced Education in General Dentistry program in Wichita Falls, Texas. He finished at the top of his residency and was assigned to Beale AFB in Marysville, California.

Upon completion of his commitment to the Air Force, Dr. Crawford and his wife decided to stay in the area. He then joined a Family and Cosmetic Dentistry office in Roseville as an associate dentist. During this time, he took continuing education courses in orthodontics and started performing orthodontics in the office.

Dr. Crawford found immense enjoyment in orthodontics and considered it the ultimate in cosmetic dentistry. He decided he wanted to create beautiful smiles full time and applied to the most competitive specialty in dentistry. He was accepted and graduated from the University of Colorado Orthodontic Residency Program. Upon completion of his residency, he and his wife returned to their home in Lincoln, California.
